Indigo world's 6th largest.

    IndiGo has become the sixth largest airline in the world.  According to the Official Airline Guide of England (OAG), Indigo ranked sixth in the world in terms of number of passengers in March.  Indigo is a low-cost airline.  That is, it offers passengers the opportunity to travel at low cost.

  According to OAG, IndiGo flights carried 2 lakh passengers in March, the highest in Asia.  The figure is as of March 28.  OAG has also named Indigo as the fastest growing airline in the world.  It was also among the top 10 airlines in the world in March in terms of seat capacity.

  OAG publishes a list of the 20 largest airlines in the world based on monthly data.  Indigo is the only airline in India to be included in this list.  Indigo also ranks No. 1 in the domestic aviation market.  Its market share is the highest.  Indigo benefited greatly from the closure of private airline Jet Airways.

 Indigo has announced the resumption of several of its scheduled flights in April.  Its 150 foreign flights from several airports in India are about to resume.  The company has also expanded its domestic network.  It has launched services on several new routes.

 Started in 2006

 Indigo launched the services in August 2006.  Initially it had only one plane and today it has 276 aircraft in its fleet.  Its market share in the domestic aviation market is 55.5%.  This data is for January 2022.  It offers air services to 97 destinations.  It also includes 73 domestic and 24 international destinations.

   OAG मासिक डेटा के आधार पर दुनिया की 20 सबसे बड़ी एयरलाइनों की सूची प्रकाशित करता है।  सूची बनाने वाली इंडिगो भारत की एकमात्र एयरलाइन है।  इंडिगो घरेलू विमानन बाजार में भी नंबर 1 पर है।  इसकी बाजार हिस्सेदारी सबसे ज्यादा है।  निजी एयरलाइन जेट एयरवेज के बंद होने से इंडिगो को काफी फायदा हुआ।

 हवाई सेवा का क्षेत्र जल्द

    इंडिगो के सीईओ रोंजॉय दत्ता ने कहा, "दुनिया की शीर्ष एयरलाइनों में इंडिगो को देखना रोमांचकारी है।  यह भारत के लिए भी गर्व की बात है।  इससे यह भी संकेत मिलता है कि देश तेजी से कोरोना महामारी से उबर रहा है।  जैसा कि दुनिया भर में हवाई सेवाओं को बहाल किया जा रहा है, हम और अधिक मार्ग प्रदान करने और सेवाओं की आवृत्ति बढ़ाने की उम्मीद करते हैं।

    इंडिगो ने अप्रैल में अपनी कई निर्धारित उड़ानों को फिर से शुरू करने की घोषणा की है।  भारत के कई हवाई अड्डों से इसकी 150 विदेशी उड़ानें फिर से शुरू होने वाली हैं।  कंपनी ने अपने घरेलू नेटवर्क का भी विस्तार किया है।  इसने कई नए मार्गों पर सेवाएं शुरू की हैं।

 2006 में शुरू हुआ

    इंडिगो ने अगस्त 2006 में सेवाएं शुरू कीं।  शुरुआत में इसके पास केवल एक विमान था और आज इसके बेड़े में 276 विमान हैं।  घरेलू विमानन बाजार में इसकी बाजार हिस्सेदारी 55.5% है।  यह डेटा जनवरी 2022 का है।  यह 97 गंतव्यों के लिए हवाई सेवाएं प्रदान करता है।  इसमें 73 घरेलू और 24 अंतरराष्ट्रीय गंतव्य भी शामिल हैं।
