Sharing Again:- *Volatility of Equity Investment is Normal*

- Sachin Tendulkar batted 782 times for India. 

- Scored thousands of runs but scored 50 plus only 262 times! 

- Only 1/3rd times he scored more than 50 and 2/3rd times less than 50. 

- His highest score in test was 248 and ODI was 200 but many times he got out on zeros and single digits. 

- From performance perspective very volatile from 0 to 248. 

- His other teammate Venkatesh Prasad was very consistent around 4-6 runs per inning! 

- Think Sachin as equity n Prasad as FD/ Insurance. 

- Other team has scored 300 runs in 50 overs. You need to keep pace with run rate of 6 runs ( inflation)per inning. 

- Whom would you send to win matches. 

- Volatile Sachin (equity) or consistent Prasad(FDs/ Insurance). 

- By the way Sachin has more injuries prone career as a batsman than Prasad ever had as a bowler.
